Citizen Science – people and science

This will probably be a short post, but finally I put together a graph of The Age Experiments 2015 Strength test results from the 3 events I did with PhySoc!

It actually feels pretty awesome to see a graph that was put together with the help of the public (though I know there are researchers out there who collect lots of data from the public, and with more strict regulations than ours). But this was really for a bit of fun, and all to help promote physiology!

Citizen science seems to have a few definitions (see Wikipedia). The Age Experiments was more a “public participation in scientific research” kind of experiment –  a good way of getting people to try a bit of science and get them thinking about the data that is produced…
